Alert Icon sizes for N70

Hi,

Is any one aware of N70 alert icon sizes, trying 32x32 and 16x16 but none seem to be correctly fitting.

Is there a good and authentic document to know specification for each of the LCUI support icons sizes such as List Icons, Midlet ICONS, Alert Icons etc.

We have already looked into to icontest midlet.. but it does not give very authentic results.

Hi,

You can use the display.getBestImageHeight(Display.ALERT) and display.getBestImageWidth(Display.ALERT) to let the application determine the recommended size for the icon.

About N70 alert icon, a 30x40 icon (as reported in the linked document) should work.

Hi Jappit,

Now the issue we see are on imag format such as 8 bit, 24 bit, no of colors , alpha levels etc..

Any other document from nokia which talsk about exact format for midlet icon, alert icons.

midlet icon with 8 bit png is shown fine in applications. However when we launch the application, form title does not have the image. 24 bit one is quit opp. i.e on applications menu it is not displayed properly, however it gets displayed in form perfectly fine..

All these are observations on N70.

Hi Nokia,

Any reply on this.. I am sure there should some good documentation already avaiable some where.. which gives details about

Exact format of graphics for

1. Alerts
2. List Menu items
3. Midlet icon
4. Form icon (this is same as midlet icon)

The details which are need are apart of the sizes i.e

png (8bit, 16, 24 etc colour depth) and jpeg and support for transperancy etc, any good software we need to use to create these icons.
