    Hi all,

    Our aplication curently showing a capability info dialog that aplication uses on startup(fresh install).

    But i don't know its exact relevent.

    Is it necessary for any type of signing process...

    Please suggest..

    Just get the application symbian signed and the additional dialog should disappear.

    so it is nessary for symbian signing only once aplication get symbian signed we can remove it.

    Yes, self-signed application will ask user permission for the capabilities, and thus the note is shown.

    First of all thanks for ur valuable response.
    we are using developer signed with publisher id. so i think there is no need to show this dialog.

    How sure are you about that? Having a certificate and using a certificate are two different things.

    Hi,
    I guess you might be having a developer R&D certificate for your project but that is only for your development purpose and you would be providing your device IMEI number to generate it so basically the certificate is valid only for your device. But when you want to provide your application for general use you need to get a Symbian signed for your applicaiton where Symbian authorizes your application to be safe to be used in device.At that time you can install your application in any device and this addititonal dialog will not appear.
    I hope you understood the difference between developer and symbian signed certificates.
