MediaPlayerEngine API

Hi all,

I am trying to get and set the volume of music player from an application using Partnered API of MediaPlayerEngine. Using CMPMediaPlayerSettings class, it seems a very easy task. But I have found that this API acts over the Video Centre player (for videos), not over the Music Player. I have been able to get and set the volume of Video Player, but not of Music Player.

At the same way I opened other thread some time before about CMPRecentList class of that API, which is not working properly for Music Player.

All testings have been done in NokiaN95.

Is there any API for Music Player available?

I think that you should open a technical support case for this one, since it is about usage of a non-public API, thus I'm not sure how much people could help you here in the public forum.

then you should not call it "Partnered API", since there is a separate program for API partnering from which some non-public API can in some case be given for individual projects to use.

A ok sorry by the terminology used, but the name of the folder where is available the doc is PartnerAPIDoc.

Can u explain me How you implement CMPMediaPlayerSettings API for setting Video and Music Player volume.

I didn't achieve it. I don't know if it is really posible to get/set the volume of the Nokia Music/Video player.
