[Moved] I hate symbian

here we put all dificulties in symbian programing ..

I agree that leaning Symbian.c++ is harder then some other platforms. But to learn a Powerful platform like this you have to have some patience.

I am using Carbide.c++ 1.3, the normal download version. And as I am working on a camera application, i started with the Camera Example by Nokia, first adding some own code and then doing a rewrite.

i develop symbian c++ depuis december 2007...

this i my problem: i want to detect when a web page begin dowloaded and when is terminated. Please dont give example that d'ont work!!

i passed 3 week searching a solution but...

Come on mehdy13..
It's not that without a solution given, you are not able to proceed further..

Usually most of them would have got solutions only by following the suggestions and experimenting by themselves..

If u find the solution share with us.. You urself could write an article regarding this issue..

Come on.. Be cool.. even I m new to symbian hardly 50 days only...It's a very tough subject in my language...


But its up to us take the challenge.. Come on man..Browse through the wiki, work out on problems, use the debugger... U have so much..Definitely this forum helps us much for the beginners...

Start your problem from the scratch again...
Split the whole problem into tasks and proceed..
What i say may seem odd, but it is helpful...

Maybe you would have let out an unnnoticed thing which may be small or not even worth enough!!!

Post the code here...
Experts may check them ...

First of all check the environment in which its working and sort out the compatibility issues.
Come on.. You can sort it out..

The high amount of APIs and Frameworks on Symbian make its hard to learn in the beginning. Like any other native language.

I advice you to start with PythonS60, an python porting for S60. Pretty simple to use.
