[Moved] Noisy audio capture

Hi, i'm using the Mobile Media API (JSR 135). The audio captured (by mic) is very noisy, even when i am not speaking anything in mic. This noise don't is white noise, and the samples of the signal are "high" values (128, -127). This is normal? Thanks.

do you experience this behaviour on only a specific phone? If yes, if you try recording audio from phone native recording application, do you get the same noise?

Hi Pit,

I'm using the Java Toolkit. I didn't test in phones yet, but i want to use a phone of the series S60. I already installed the emulator of that series, but by now i'm only testing in the default phone JME.
