    Hello All,
I am newbie and trying a hand at Mobile application on Symbian.

I have installed Carbide.c++ v1.3, also I have installed S60 SDK downloaded from Nokia site. I have installed it in a drive other than default directory.
Is it that I need to install the same in its default C drive??

    Welcome.

Would you please elaborate more about your problem? Which SDK are you referring to?

And one suggestion to get life easier. Install Carbide.c++, SDK, etc... in same drive. There could be exception to this case but as said, for getting life easier, install them on same drive.

    Hi Ankzz,

All you need to do is go to the Windows>Preferences in Carbide then select the Carbide c++, there you would have sdk preference you need to setup your
    epocroot and the other details.

    Regards,
    Sriky

if your perl is correctly installed, you can try to use devices -add and devices -setdefault to add SDK manually.
