A company framework

I would like to know your comments on libraries/frameworks above Symbian SDK's. Do they exist. Can you suggest some of them? Does it worth to create an own framework. What is a best practice? My concern is that there can be features shared among mobile applications.

What kind of Framework are you talking about ?

There are plenty and new are coming hopefully soon. Like Device management (I would call it FW), and any other Ecom thing really that exists already.

Maybe you could call my Y-Browser a framework, since it offers services to its Ecom plug-in type extensions, and the interface is public.

Also Map & Navigation as well as Sensor FWs are propably coming out soon..

Thanks for the comment. I have on mind such a framework which targets the issue I mentioned: some features are reused in more then one application. So I guess it is worth to incorporate implementations of these features in such framework, namespace: e.g. my_company::feature1, my_company::feature2, and so on. I was just curious about best practices.
