    i install:
    1- .net2005
    2- carbide.vs3.0.1(which support .net2005) & and all pre-requists (active perl,VS80sp1-KB926601-X86-ENU(1).exe,etc....)
    vs.net support me to create project with symbian and when enabel enable sdk is read but not active

    you forgot to mention what SDK and perl version.
    Anyway, does it show the SDK as installed when you type devices in commandline ?

    i read releasenotes and make all steps of installation

    u have mentioned .net 2005 and carbide vs 3.0.1 so which IDE u really want to use.

    use this steps:
    1) install Active perl latest version
    2) install carbide.c++ V 1.3
    3) install SDK of symbian s60 (or whatever of your choice i.e. S60-3.2-SDK-f.inc3.2130.zip)
    4) restart your computer

    I hope this step will enable u to start development for symbian...using carbide IDE

    Not the latest version, but 5.6.1. check Release notes for the same.

    it sure S60_2nd_FP2_CW:com.nokia.series60 default and detected by vs2005 but not active( i cannt check it,check box exist but not active) do you understand me

    any one can give me file S60_2rd_FP2.xml this file will help me to make sdk checkable
