Hi..How to program the middle button present in between the arrow keys.

I am working on an application where in currently only the left and right softkeys facilitate navigation.I would like to program in such a way that the user should also be able to select the center button also .

Kindly help me in this regard if anyone have a solution.

Hi,
If your class is extending canvas . If you press the center button it will call the key events with the key codes. Get the cente key code and perform the action what you required

I am using form for that

The form is part of the high level user interface.
In the form, you use a command with type Command.OK and priority 1,
and hope that the phone manfacturer has implemented MIDP so that it puts the command on the middle button.
The good thing is, if the phone has no middle button, your app is still usable.

And a small Nokia-flavored addition to internetlabor's answer.

Series 40 devices have worked this way for quite long. On S60 side the middle soft key is used for command placement starting from S60 3rd Edition FP2
