Show location/City information while application launch.

I would like to show location/City information while application launch.
Could anybody suggest me how to achieve this,Any API s availble in S60 2nd / 3rd edition?

Hi,

you can find location infomation from "The Location Acquisition API" these API in 3rd editon...and for second ed...you can get location info from Advanced telephony libraries Etelmm.lib Ref:

I am doubt wheather these apis are publicly available for 3rd edition!!!!

The Location Acquisition API" is public API in 3rd editon

#include <lbs.h>
Lib:- lbs.lib

But etelmm.lib It's private API lib..
