How to get MSRN?

Hi All,

Greetings from Anand. I am newbie to the SIM application tool kit. Have any one try to catch the MSRN(Mobile station roaming number). Is there any possibilities to get the MSRN? If so please help me to do that. This is very urgent for me.

From a Java MIDlet?
Not possible.

(some devices support APDU connections to the SIM card and STK connections are possible with that, but the you would need to sign the MIDlet with an operator certificate, and that is most likely not possible in your case - and I am not even sure if the SIM card has that information...)

Thanks for your reply.

To my knowledge the MSRN (Mobile station Roaming Number) is a temporary number generated by the VLR( visitor location register). It is the information I need to get from the network.

Can any one tell me. Is it possible to get the details from the network using SIM Application tool kit?

I do not think this is possible.

Why do you need that number? Are you sure that you could not get by without that information?
