how to send OTA bookmark on Sony Ericsson

Hi all,

i am trying to sending the bookmark messaging on sony w200i.

this is my xml:

On nokia n-72 it is received and i am able to save it but it is not receiving on the sony w200i and other sets.

I think in Sony Ericsson mobile the OTA book mark receiving port might be diffrent. what is the port you are using for Nokia?

Works on my W910i - does not seem to work on Nokia phones however. I have yet to discover a way to send bookmarks which work for both phone types

I am totally confused which thread is recent (this one or one out the three at Sony Ericsson)! This makes everything even more confusing and answering very complicated. Although, I recommend to continue there at Sony Ericsson Developer World, what is this ‘0x5C’? Does this or that help?

This 0x5c just // Unknown Document type

you may use 0x01 instead.


I send my xml to sony ericsson and nokia 2626 fine.

you may test it for other nokia also?

Hi!

Until now I have been working (if I can say it is working :P) with UDH and WBXML... but i don't know about the WSP.

I have found a WAPForum document that explains WSP... but where can I find a list of WSP common examples?

If i'm not wrong, your WSP hex code corresponds to "application/x-wap-prov.browser-settings".

Hi can you please let me know the converter that you used to convert the above OTA setting XML to WBXML(Data), if you have used one. The converter wbxml2-0.9.2 doesn't work for this since this is not an OMA CP XML.

Well, for something like that you could use a static document and just change that single string. However, as libwxml is open source, did you look at its source or test files?
