how to configure emulator to run internet?

hi all,

i m developing an application to run internet on emulator.
but after the access point it does not responds....don't know why?
when i checked it in sdk device connectivity tool, in diagonstics it gave the error: cannot start EMCT manager
please help me, its urgent....

just see Under that line it should display some jre version(may be 1.4) to install . Just install that jre.which sdk version u r using ??

jre/jdk 1.6.0 is installed on my system..
it's still not working..
it is again giving error msg :cannot start ecmt manager

Many times when you install a JRE which is not listed in the config.properties, you need to add that version in that line.

epdt.java.version.start=1.4.1,1.4.2,1.5,5.0

I think that might be the thing that raj8nokiaforum had missed(Maybe) but this info might certainly help for somebody following up.
