Nokia 7110 and Windows XP

A post in mid-2002 said that Nokia had not yet developed software to link a 7110 with the Windows XP OS - is this still the case? I would like to link a 7110 with the internal V.92 modem of my notebook computer (operating system is Windows XP Professional) using a cable link to the RJ-11 port, so as to be able to download and send e-mails.
