Clarification: Question related to Message Type ?

Dear BR,
What does 'sender' means? Is it SMSC or my GSM modem? But i have not set DCS. Most of the time the SMS sent by my GSM modem is stored in the destination mobile phone's SIM. But , recently, it displays on the phone instead of storing automatically. So, DCS was set by SMSC.
Am I right?

SMSC should not change the dcs. DCS is defined when writing the message. You can check your Text mode settings with at+csmp?. Maybe
you have changed your dcs setting by accident.
