    Hi

    does anyone know, if the CSD data channel has to be enabled by the customer or is it already enabled by the provider during buy in Europe or USA?

    There is no "the provider". There are a series of providers, and their policies may change on a per-country basis.
    Also note that not all mobile devices support CSD (or at least do not support it in a visible way), even if the operator enables it.

    thank you very much.

    Yes i'm avair of that. I'm asking because in India f.e. one must enable this data channel always personaly and one will get an extra-number for this channel.

    I think that can be operator-dependent. My experience with Pannon in Hungary (Europe) is that you do not have a CSD number by default, and you are going to be assigned one when you ask for it.

    It depends on operator.some operator do not separate your CSD number from your regular number. some operator will assign a separate number to your as your CSD channel number.sometime, this number once was some other's number,and it is why I heard that some people get wrong call.
