Steps in UI development - Porting console exe to UI

Hi ppl...
I am very much comfortable with the console applications in symbian...
Now i want to have a UI for these console projects...
I am little bit confused when creating the UI appln itself...
The Carbide generates appdocument,appview,appui, application.cpp...

Where should i start.. how to port the existing .exe to the UI...
Is it possible...or i have to start from scratch?????

Hi,
In case you want to create a completely UI based program u will need all the above generated classes. Now you can include your user defined classes in your project and create an object either in AppUi and start calling functions of that class using that object.

As yogpan said i would create an object of my class in App UI and perform things...
Then sriky.. thanx for ur help... juz wanted to use the existing UI framework than creating my own...
