unable to install helloworld

I want to install the following project on nokia n73:
C:\Symbian\9.1\S60_3rd_MR\Examples\Basics\HelloWorld

But unable to install in the process of installing

what is the error message you are getting.

Also note that the sis file needs to be signed appropriately to install it

What is the error message you are getting on installing your application?
Have you signed your application with self signed certificate?

Note that if you can actually install it, but you see no icon, that is because of the 'console' nature of most examples in the Examples folder. If you search for console in the Wiki, you can get ideas for providing an icon ("Executing Console Applications on Devices").
Examples in the S60Ex folder are better from this point of view, for example S60Ex\HelloWorldBasic already contains the required registration file.
