Read music files playing in another application

Hi Guys!!

Could you guys help me? I want to make an application to read properties music files playing in another application, e.g when the user play a music file in wathever application I want to read the properties about song playing in this another application as artist, music name, etc. or just get the name file or path. Is possible to do that?

Hi Jorge,

you cannot do this in Java ME. Personally, I don't know if you have this kind of info access in Symbian C++, but you could try posting this question on Symbian boards.
