how to get the width and height of a control

Hi,
I am composing a compound control consisting of one label control and one listbox control, now I need to get width and height of the label control in order to place my listbox to correct place. Anybody tells me how to do this? Is there any existing api for this?

Check this documentation on CEikLabel

you can get the size as wwell as Rectangle dimensions of the control.

Hi,

Correctly said ´by Yogpan CEikLabel is derived from CCoeControl and you could call Rect to get the rectangle. For your information the child controls in the compound control are always relative to the compound control.
