DRM and ALLFILES capabilities come under "Manufacturer Approved" capabilities and which is not easily grantable. You have to provide a genuine case to the manufacturer to acquire it.

Check design of your application and think whether you really want these capabilities or not.

According to the "A note on capabilities" on http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph..._filter_plugin, it may really happen that you really need DRM on FP-less 3rd edition devices (like the N73). Personally I have never tried implementing a browser plug-in, but if the process has the DRM capability, it will not be able to load your plug-in if it has no DRM capability.

Kiran: I would guess that Liuxingyu_best is not in the position to rethink the design of the built-in web browser ;-)

At least with FP2 & FP1 devices I have tried filters on, there has been no requirements for DRM capability, so maybe you could forget the 3.0 devices and do with the newer one.

Where the use of certain capabilities in a DLL is required by an error in the platform like this then you should be able to get an appropriate developer certificate approved by Nokia. Not without a publisher ID though.

Actually, considering the capability we're talking about my guess is that such request will never be approved. To clear all the doubts liuxingyu_best should send an email to nokia.testing@nokia.com and ask for advice.

What you're looking for is an HTTP Filter plug-in. Look in the SDK docs and in the Wiki for info about this type of binary.
