    Hi Expert,

I am trying to submit my application on symbian signed for signing.
i have done all the required step but after submit it is showing a error message FAILED.
error message is your zip folder contain some wrong extension.

    my folder contains
    -app.pkg,
    -app.sis,
    -readme.txt,
    -user_manual.pdf
    -Content.zip
//content.zip having a folder that contain some content for application.
so here there is only two things extra user_manual.pdf and content.zip.
if i remove it then how can i upload my content.

Which kind of signing? "content.zip" may cause the problem.

The submission form also suggests that the user manual should be in text format (.txt) so .pdf could also be one problematic file extension.

Symbian Signed's support forum is of course the best channel to address this issue.

    Hi,
He says that you should check your files again. May be some files are having wrong extension by any chance(as is clear from the error message).
Is the zip file allowed inside the folder? Just a guess you can try by removing it also and then submitting it.
Well the experts have already pointed out where to look into the problem, give it a try

No. You need to sign your application with Publisher ID. Check relevant steps from this article: http://wiki.forum.nokia.com/index.ph...r_Publisher_ID

Ok. So you are going for Express Signing, aren't you?

TCT Publisher ID is issued by TC Trust Center company. And it is mandatory for any of the Symbian Signing scheme. It is pre-requisite to get your application eligible for Symbian signing on first place. It will cost you around 200$ per annum and you can sign as many application in this one year of span. You have to extract Certificate and Key files from it and sign your sis file before you sent it for Symbian Signing process. See the article given you in previous post.

ACS Publisher ID another way of getting Publisher ID and it is issued by Verisign company. Currently Symbian recommends to use TCT Publisher ID instead of ACS Publisher ID.

TCT Content ID comes into picture when you are using Express Signing method. In other words it is a submission fee to get your application use Express Signing scheme for Symbian Signing.

So you have to have TC TrustCenter Publisher ID before you proceed for anything in your case.

    I hope this helps.
