save page --> load page

Hi, is there any "quick way" to save a whole page locally(xhtml,images,css)? Using the browser, you can save pages and then you can load then from the "bookmarks/saved pages" folder... so, can this be done programatically? and if this is possible, which is the <aUid> associated to be able to open this stored site with the "embeded browser" (LoadSavedPageL)

it would be really useful if the browser was able to read ".mht files" but the tests I have been doing are not being succesful. any idea if the browser supports multipart/related - .mht files?
