How DCS value had been changed?

Hi,
I have a problem for sending SMS from my GSM modem in text mode. It sends class 0 message to a mobile phone because of change in DCS value. It should be 0 by default. I did not set this value.

So, i would like to know that this change of DCS value is due to bad communication of modem or any other reason?

You can set DCS value in Text mode using +CSMP command.
AT+CSMP? will give you present settings. DCS is the
fourth parameter in +CSMP command.
AT+CSMP=fo,vp,pid,dcs
I don't know what has caused the DCS to change.
