Viewing Contact Details and Identifying selected field

Hey,
Apology if querying wrong group.

I'm a newbie and learning. I am trying to do the following:
1. From my application, provide list of contacts
2. User selects a contact and wishes to view details
3. Provide view details.
4. User selects a field and presses Green key to call. On green key, I will like to display a note indicating which field & corresponding text has been selected.

I am able to do 1 & 2. To do 3, there are ample of ways; but not able to get handle on step # 4. Can anybody guide me - (a) if its possible (b) and if yes, how?

You'll have to capture the "green" key globally.
You'll get a notification in the RunL function of your class.
Check this link for a sample.

Green key can be captured like this,

iWindowGroup.CaptureKey(EKeyYes, 0, 0); // Green key

Thanks. Now, after capturing "Green" Key, I want to fetch details of the current highlighted / selected item (eg: Number / Name / e-mail address / ...) along with its value.

eg: Currently, my highlight is on name: Chris. I need to extract the field type { First Name} , value = { Chris }.

Using above information, I can provide a pop-up of the same.

I am directly calling viewContactDetails (ContactID)

This method name does not sound familiar to me.
If it launches a built-in view, it is probably not possible to get what you want.
If it launches a listbox created by you, common listbox API-s can be used, like CurrentItemIndex.
