Input in text field without new window

When you try to introduce text in a text-field (as component of a form), the emulator opens a new window automatically (called "system screen&quot and you must introduce text here. But I do NOT want to open a new window, I want to introduce text in original field (like html form). How can I do?

Someone from Nokia should be able to answer this, cause it's been used in the "Converter II" that came with my Nokia 6610.

You have no control over this behaviour. This is how the high-level UI works, and you just have to learn to live with it. On Series 60 phones, for example, the text is entered on the same window.
The only workaround would be implementing these widgets on a Canvas where you control the look and feel...
