    Hi,

Is there any way to configure Maps to a "track up" mode instead of the standard "North up?"

North up = the "top" of the map always faces North. This is pretty confusing becuase you need to work out your true direction of travel on the screen. This is not intuitive; for example a park may appear on your left on screen, but in reality be on your right becuase you are driving south.

Track up = your direction of travel is always the top of the map. This makes it very easy to figure out which way to turn at an intersection, since left on screen is left in reality.

    Regards,

    Mark.

Many things are possible and many others are not, but if you want to know what you can do about an existing application please don't ask on a software developers' discussion board. The forum for end-user discussions is http://discussions.europe.nokia.com
