Downloading games over WAP

Dear friends,
I am working in a software development organisation for telcos. We're exploring the different scenarios in which applications like games can be downloaded over WAP service.
I am interested to know what kind of applications are the games which can be downloaded over WAP in some Nokia Phones?
E.g. Nokia 3330 supports downloading games over WAP but is not supporting J2ME. So are these games a C++ like application or are they device dependent i.e.developed using series 60 SDK ?
Please someone let me know.
