Which api's need the developer signing certificate

Hi,

I would like to know which api's need the self signing certificate and which api's need the developer signing certificate.

I know that we use self-signed certificate, we can only sign basic set capabilities, i.e. NetworkServices, ReadUserData, WriteUserData, LocalServices and UserEnvironment. If your application requires one of the extended capabilities, for example SwEvent, you cannot sign it with self-signed certificate. In this case, apply for developer certificates from Symbian Signed.

Can any one please provide me a link or document regarding which api's need the self signing and which api's need the developer signing.

Hi,
I guess that is a very broad case you are talking about.Mainly the API documentation contains the capability requirement of that API so whenever you are implementing any system API you can check the documentation to see the capability requirement of that API.
