Check-13 Correct Application UID

Hi all,

This is failed, test house given the following message.
The owner of the SID/UID (0x20003E97) is listed as "ABC CO". However, the SIS file's Publisher ID is listed as
"XYZ Technologies". The owner of each UID, SID, or VID must match the Publisher ID Distinguished Name.

We are not very cleary about the above message.
Our app is exe which uses DLL, DLL is third party. Should DLL be certified? Detailed explanation is very much appriciated.

Does the UID 0x20003E97 belong to your application of to the 3rd party DLL?

If the later, the UID can be changed (if DLL's license allows it to be touched) or it should be provided to you as a certified sis file to be embedded in your own sis.

Yes, 0x20003E97 is 3rd Party DLL UID. App UID is 0x20003ED8.
