S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0_9 Emulator Closes Itself

Hi,

I've installed S60_5th_Edition_SDK_v0_9_en. When I open the emulator, it's waiting for a while (the title's saying "S60 Emulator is loading. Please wait...") and it's closing itself. I see a white space in the place that Symbian UI should be and I can't use menus except Exit, Switch Configuration and Help. I registered the emulator with a valid serial number. Please help me.

There could be many reasons for the emulator process dying and it is usually due to e mix of Windows OS version and settings and device drivers. Do search this forum for existing discussions on this topic and try to learn from what others have done to solve the problem. Also, check the content of the %temp%\epocwind.out log file, it might contain some clues as to what was the last good/bad thing that happen in the emulator.

Hi, I have the same problem.

Here are my last lines of the file epocwind.out

Does anoyone know how to solve it ?
