How to capture information directly from the CCD array built-in camera

I am interested if it is possible to bypass the image capture server and retrieve raw image information directly from the CCD array built-in camera

Dear Developer,

Camera (for example in Nokia 3650) is shared resource and the control and management of the camera in the handset is implemented used client/server architecture. The camera server should not be bypassed (source: Using the Nokia 3650 Camera, page 5).

Most of the tasks can be done via Camera server. Are you sure you cannot do your application using camera server?
