How to do GPRS communication.

Hello
I am developing an application on S60 3rd Edition FP1.
The requirement of my application is to send data to and get data from Web server using GPRS.
I am new to socket programing. I have done HTTP comunication but do not know about GPRS communication. I went through a lot of post on this forum and also searched in SDK help.
Can anyone please help me out what steps I need to perfrom for establing GPRS connection and communicating over that with Web server. Any sample code or link??
Also can I test it over emulator or I will need a device for it?

Hi,

1/ Yes you can use the emlator
2/ Try the "WebClient" example, which is part of the SDK
3/ If you need to control the connection in more detailed level check the example http://www.forum.nokia.com/info/sw.n..._0_en.zip.html
3.1/ Usefull classes for establishing/monitoring the connection are:
RConnection
CNetworkConnProgressNotifier
RConnectionMonitor
