wlan usage permission by test criteria

I have read "Symbian Signed Test Criteria" Version 3.0.2.


I didn't find out any test cases about permission to use WLAN connection. some questions to the test criteria...


I have an application, which uses the WLAN for connecting a Server, whenever the WLAN is connected.

Should a Popup Dialog always be displayed to ask for the permission of WLAN at each time when my application starts? Or can only one Popup dialog be displayed, and ask for permission of WLAN connection forever?


And to the Access point:

Must the user select one access point by himself? Or my application can select one predefined by itself automatically without showing the access point select dialog? Is it allowed in Test criteria?

Yes, you/application can select one predefined access point without showing the access point select dialog. it is allowed in symbian signing. but u have to be carefull about "what happens if user remove all access point from devices".
