    Hi, all

I want to fade all the screen behind my custom-dialog(window-owning). When I called Window().FadeBehind(ETrue), all the screen is faded except for the Signal and Battery pane. They belong to the ws-server.

Does anyone know how to fade these two panes? Thanks advance.

    Hi,

I am very much sure you can draw a faded window by using ws-server API.

Thanks for your important hint. But could you say more clearly? I want to fade the background screen, rather than the dialog window its self... My dialog's size is smaller than the screen's...

I know there is a 'SetSystemFaded()' function in RWsSession, but it requires WriteDeviceData capability. Compared to query dialogs provided by AKN, they can fade background but don't require any capability. So there must be a way to fade them.

    Hi,

Can you try this with SetSystemFaded() API. might be you can try it on 2nd sdk if you have some capability issues.

I've tried that SetSystemFaded(). It can fade all screen including signal pane, and it does require WriteDeviceData on fp1.
