    hi,
    i am not able send/recv any data to java server, just it is connecting thats it..

    But what have you tried? All S60 SDK-s contain examples about sockets (S[eries]60Ex\sockets in older days, S60[Ex|CppExamples]\Chat now).

    one of my pal is running java server, i am sending 8bit data to him, but he is not receiving any data.whether any conversion has to be done in server side, becoz in java one char will take 2bytes.
