    Hi,

I have an application which works fine in all aspects. I used developers certificate during the app. development.

Now i need to make the application public(i mean, the app. should work for all s60 3rd ed. devices).

So what is the procedure? how i need to contact symbian signing ?
How much should i pay them for making the app. work for all devices?
What are the preliminary steps need to be accounted before sending the application to them?
What symbian team will do with the application sent by me?
How many times i can sent the application for signing if the app. fails to meet the standards?

Please correct me if i am wrong.

Please someone let me know the details...

    Thanks,
    Srivatsan

If your application uses only user grantable capabilities then you can sign it yourself (self-signed). Certifying your application is however advisable.

The answer is in The Complete Guide To Symbian Signed available at https://www.symbiansigned.com

You are advised to test your application thoroughly before submission so that you can pass the testing in one round. You can follow the same testing procedure the test house will follow as the test criteria is publicly documented in the Symbian Signed Test Criteria, also available at https://www.symbiansigned.com

In theory you can try and try again for ever but it would be best for your budget to pass the test on the first attempt.

Please read the documentation and this forum too. Then ask for details only if you still have unanswered questions.
