    Hi,
Symbian signing says The vendor name in your SIS file matches the Organisation Name in your Publisher ID. Vendor name here refers to Localised vedor name or Unique vendor name?

    Regs,

You might have given it in your .mmp file. But you need to acquire it beforehand from SymbianSigned.

You may want to check this description for Vendor ID. What are VIDs?

It also contains one link to SymbainSigned Forum. Also check that.

My question was not at all about VID. It was about vendor name used in PKG file. Please read the question properly before answering

Do you have localized Publisher IDs?

There are three new directives and they are specified with the .pkg characters %, :, and =, which indicate the following:

% specifies localized vendor names (corresponding to language).

: specifies a nonlocalized (global) vendor name. This is used, in combination with signing, to prevent the unauthorized upgrade of a package by someone other than the rightful vendor.

= specifies logo files (corresponding to language).
