How do you guys choose whom to reply?

Hi,

I have posted a few threads explaining the problem and many times I would just not get any reply. I was wondering like how do you guys decide whom to reply and whom not to? Is it like "avoid if you don't know the answer" policy.. or you find questions so "stupid" to answer.. or what..??

Please reply to at least this thread...

You are mis-interpreting the word 'services' in "Feedback on Forum Nokia Services": in case of the Discussion Boards, the 'service' is not about answering your questions, but providing the DiBo itself, so you can reach other developers, who may answer your questions. Just check your threads, and you will see that with a few exceptions (Jukka and Lucian) most answers originate outside from Nokia.
If you want a question to be answered by Nokia people, you can raise a paid Technical Support case, with this new design, you can easily do that via the eStore link above.

I see from your profile you have two unaswered questions in about 50 posts.

1. N95-8gb - no idea, this is something you would need to raise with Nokia support to see if it is a known issue with that firmware variant.

2. APS version - The software installer should do version checking and not install an older version over a newer version. The only way your program could check in code to see the sis file version installed is currently a Symbian partner API and as such no support on it can be given.

There are many fields that have a beter chance of getting answered than others. Audio questions (I moved it there) are one of the lowest response rates. We try to have moderators and experts for all technologies but can not always achieve that.

I always thought that this website is a way of reaching Nokia support and was not aware of the eStore facility.

My company already has partnership with Nokia, but we always get advise of putting the query on Forum Nokia first before they start looking into matter.

I have one more question (link given below)... if you can get me some help of this issue. I will be very very thankful to you!
