How to set Loudspeaker for incoming call/outgoing call.

Hello Friends,

I am working on series S60 3rd edition(FP1).I have query regarding Calling Application.
I am new to "Call" application. How to Implement Loudspeaker option for call, (For Incoming call/out going call).

Can anybody help me....plz

did you try out the link, it says "Example application that shows on how you can switch between earpiece and loudspeaker, when having a active call.", and I actually wrote that my self, and also tested it with N95.. So could you specify on what are you trying to do ?

symbianyucca i am sorry i was mistaken.. i didn't observe ur link properly.. Now i am trying to implement ur code.

But now my problem is tat, I am not finding this header file in any of the plug-ins:
#include <TelephonyInternalPSKeys.h> .

I searched the SDk plugins but couldn't find it still.
pls.. could u let me know in which plug in i can get this headre file.

Hi yukka, i test same application on my N 95 and get errorcode 46 when i set the volume, and you said it is working, i add FP1 plugin, but still get no success.

Did you copy to code to another application ?
Also do try adding some capabilities to get rid of the -46.

No i did not copy the code, i directly install sis from application sis folder after sign, that is not working on N 95 but working on N 73.

One thing in your link that you provided in this post have Ear Lound switch speakers.zip file that have only one application propertytest, that has not ant set functionality, and i downloaded example with CR Keys To Control Phone Volume API, from

This API works for N73, but not work N95, i added all related Capabilities.

Symbianyucca I have implemented ur code successfully in my Application and it is working fine in N95.

But the Problem is, it's not working in E61 and N73, So could u tell me, why it's not supporting..

Hi,
Have you checked whether the code will work fine in 3rd edition device?? because N95 is 3.1 device and the other two devices E61 and N73 are 3.0 devices.

Hi Friends,

Yogpan I tested my Application in N95, E61 and N73.

The Application is working in N95 successfully With Loudspeaker option.

The same Application working in E61 and N73 But Loudspeaker option is not working.

Could any one suggest me, so tat i can implement Loudspeaker for all devices..

Hi,

If its working on E61 then it will definitely work on N73 because both phones are from 3rd SDK initial release but N95 3rd SDK FP1.
