    Hi Guys.

We have a small application. It is a Passwords manager. No malware. Real simple.
We seem to have a problem on Nokia E65 that we are testing.

If you have a Nokia E65, could you please try to install and let us know if you are getting a problem ? We want to verify that the application is installable on other E65.

If you have another Cellular, you can try too - and let us know your manufacturer/model and we will add it to our tested cellulars list.

    The application Jad:

    www.megaas.com/catd

    If you need the Jar:

    www.megaas.com/catr

You can also send the Jad to yourself by SMS from (no charges):

    http://www.megaas.com/CATSendBySMS.asp

Many thanks !!! We will owe u one.

The tests give an Invalid Jar File message.

We can not recreate the message using the S60 emulators nor any other Nokia emulator or Cellular.

But, I'm hopping that when somebody else trys it on a real device, it will actually open and work. This way we will know that it is the particular cellular and not a general problem.

At the same time, we would like to extend the number of tested devices. So, if you have another device - can u please try and let us know if you run into an installation problem ?

    Thanx

    Hi,

Here is the Jad file content:

    MIDlet-1: CATSMain,/icons/CATProtected.PNG,CATSMain
    MIDlet-Description: TFA OTP Strong Authentication
    MIDlet-Info-URL: http://www.megaas.com
    MIDlet-Jar-Size: 41294
    MIDlet-Jar-URL: CATS1.jar
    MIDlet-Name: CAT OTP 1.8
    MIDlet-Vendor: Mega AS Consulting Ltd
    MIDlet-Version: 1.8.0
    MicroEdition-Configuration: CLDC-1.0
    MicroEdition-Profile: MIDP-1.0

You can see the MIDP-1.0 and CLDC-1.0

As I understand, the E60 should support this.

test keeping the midp specifications of that of the phone i.e midp 2.0 and cldc 1.1...some runtimes are simply not downward compatible.dont have the phone to test it...but try this one....phones' java implementations are way too wierd ..
