show phone background

Hi there,

Is there any way to show the real background of the device in a canvas? I'd want to make a canvas screen and I'd need to have some part of it showing the background of the phone.

I think this isn't possible. However, if you're planning to do it for an S60 device, there might be a way (pretty complicated and will, in essence, constitute a compatibility break between platforms):

yes, I was wondering if I could show the screen of the phone (the screen that is shown when you are not in an J2me app, like the one shown when you turn the phone on)
