    You don't mention the phone that you are using for testing. Also, is the sis file containing GCCE binaries or WINSCW ones?

    I am using S60_3rd_FP2_SDK, os version 9.3.0, sdk version 3.2.0.
    Carbide c++ 2.0.
    I am using simple helloWorld application.
    I have created sis using makesis through command prompt.

    Nokia N72 is a S60 2rd Edition FP3 device and as you should know applications built for S60 3rd Edition do not work (won't even install) on S60 2nd Edition devices (and vice-versa). Check the device specifications before rushing into writing applications for any of the S60 phones.
