Which version of TRK is the best?

Hello,

I'm using N95 8GB, SDK: S60_3rd_FP1 and CarbideC++ 1.3.

When I try to install the TRK from "C:\Program Files\Nokia\Carbide.c++ v1.3\plugins\com.nokia.carbide.trk.support_1.3.0.024\trk\s60", I got the message "Component is built-in" from the phone and the installation was terminated.

Then, I try to download the trk from "http://tools.ext.nokia.com/agents/index.htm", the installation is ok. But the debuger does not work well. When I debug step by step (use F5, F6) it jump randomly! It shows randomly the values of variables!

How about if you update your Carbide.c++ and use whatever TRK client comes with that?

I have just updated the CarbideC++. And now I have C:\Program Files\Nokia\Carbide.c++ v1.3\plugins\com.nokia.carbide.trk.support_1.3.1.036\trk\s60\s60_3_0_app_trk_2_8_9.sisx

I have tried to install this file. It's ok. But when the debuger was starting, the phone was restared! :(

I remember that the others users on this forum have the same problem. I have tried to find the solution but still not found.

Update: I have tried with s60_3_1_app_trk_2_8_9.sisx, it run well now. I'm trying if it work well or not.

What are differences between s60_3_1_app_trk_2_8_9.sisx and s60_3_0_app_trk_2_8_9.sisx ?

Well, let's see ... one would be for S60 3rd Edition devices (aka S60 3.0) while the other one for S60 3rd Edition FP1 devices (aka S60 3.1).
