How to run Musicplayer on S60 3fp2 emulator

Hi all,

I am trying to run some audio files(.m4u,mp3,.aac etc) from the music player of the 3.2 emulator. But i am always getting the notification "Unable to play selected files" or " -5 Feature not supported".

I have kept the file at "C:\S60\devices\S60_3rd_FP2_SDK\epoc32\winscw\c\Data\Sounds"
Its showing in the gallery but when i try to run them its giving the above mentioned errors.


I need info on this ASAP

The emulator does not include codesc for some formats, thus you propably should use Wav files when playing arpound with the emulator.

I have also tried with wav files also but the same is coming for that also...can u tell me where exactly should i put the audio file in...Thanks!

I've got the same problem.
No mp3, no wav can be played...

Installed S60 3rd Edition SDK for Symbian OS, Feature Pack 2 v1.1
on Vista.

Anyone have idea how to make it working?
