SocketConnection Issues in CDMA Network

Hi,

I am working on Nokia 6275i handset on a CDMA network. I am getting ConnectionNotFound error when using SocketConnection. I read in Generic Connection Framework that SocketConnection is MIDP 2.0 is optional & its depends on the operator to allow/disallow Is is true? Please help me.

The MIDP-2.0 spec says that the SocketConnection interface must exist. It does not say that the phone must provide an implementation.

ConnectionNotFoundException indicates that the device has no implementation for the connection type you want. There really isn't much you can do about this, except use HTTP instead.
