How to get the counts of the items in the PhoneBook(S60 3rd)?

Hi ,all
I want to implement requirement as follows:

1. Get the counts of the items which store in the phone(the device).
2. Get the counts of the items which store in the SIM card.
3. Get all phone numbers which one item contains in the phone or SIM card .
4. Get one item's contact (the name).

Please give me help. Tell me some related APIs.

1. Use CContactDatabase class
2. Not possible with published API (only partner API)
3. For SIM not possible.
For contact database: use CContactDatabase + CcontactItem
4. Use CContactDatabase + CContactItem

Some related API-s are CPbkContactEngine and CContactDatabase. When you search for them in the SDK Help, you will find the other ones.
Depending on which particular SDK you use, it may contain an example called "Contacts". And it is also downloadable from FN, head towards Docs on the top, then towards Symbian C++, PIM (Personal Information Management).
