Which language to choose for mobile software development?

Hi,
I am completely new for mobile softwares. I have seen so many SDKs and languages provided by nokia site. I am not sure which one to choose.

I just want to develop a count down timer for my mobile (Nokia 5320). Can anyone just help me out with the right development platform with links to tools and tutorials?

As you said you check lot many SDK.But as you want to build application for specific mobile device .You need to check this

Developer Platform S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2
Operating System Symbian OS v9.3 .

So you can download SDK -S60 3rd Edition, Feature Pack 2.try out with symbian c++.

Simplest language for a simple count down timer would propably be WRT Widgets, you could propably even copy the JavaScript from some internet source and get it done in couple of minutes.
