How to implement "Mark as Read" in MTM

Hi,

does anyone know how to implement the "Mark as Read" menu item in a MTM? This menu item is available in S60 3.2 and can not be hidden as far as I know. For us KMtmUiFunctionMarkAsRead is not delivered to InvokeSyncFunctionL in the client MTM.

We only get to ChangeL in the server MTM (but we there also in a lot of other cases).

If it is there, and it works, what do you want to implement?

If the user chooses "Mark as Read" the message is read. We also want to send this fact to the remote server (such that the fact the message is now marked as read is synchronized with the server).

It would be best for us if we can do this using KMtmUiFunctionMarkAsRead. But this is not delivered to InvokeSyncFunctionL in the client MTM. As ChangeL is called in a lot of situation and we do not always trigger synchronisation with the server (if there is nothing to synchronise).

Can someone confirm KMtmUiFunctionMarkAsRead just exists, but is not used by any S60 component? Or if it is possible to get it delivered to InvokeSyncFunctionL how to enable this?
