Cannot make breakpoints resolved in Carbide.c++ v 2.0

I have recently started working with Carbide.c++ 2.0. Following a tutorial I was trying to debug "Hello World" app on the emulator.
It did not hit any of my breakpoints. When I started debugging they became unresolved. I spent many hours with no result.
My SDK is S60 3rd edition, MR. Needless-to-say that I am not using any dll, it is just first sample "Hello World". Please, help!

make sure you are building for a debug version. also restart carbide.c++ and clean build .

Please correct me if I am wrong - I am a newbie in Symbian.
I cleaned build and checked Project->Build Configurations->Set Active. It says "Emulator Debug (WINSCW)[S60-3rd...]".
It looks for me as a Debug version. As a matter of fact, I am not even sure that I can build release version for the emulator through Carbide. Anyway, I built it and debugged with the same result: no breakpoints were hit.

yes that is correct
i suggest clean your project so that you will not find the application on emulator.
then building it. looks like some code / bin is already there in your build system that is not able to be updated.
also make sure you do not have any errors in your console view,

How can I do it? I have already done Project->Clean. It looks that it is not enough.

i suggest running a file search in your sdk epoc folder with your porject name and delete all occurrences. [be careful not to delete sdk files] once done delete BUILD folder in size Epoc32

Unfortunately, It did not change anything. I deleted all files with the prefix 'myfirstproj' and then the whole BUILD subfolder but the result is the same: none breakpoints were hit...

I wonder if anyone can normally work with the emulator on Carbide.c++ 2.0 and stop on breakpoints?

donot know what is going worng it your case but it works for us.

I dont have much to say apart from what kumar suggested, but one but of clarity :
Hope you are using 'Debug' option and not 'Run' to debug and the build config is winscw udeb.
Remember you can also clean/really clean from the command-line (i prefer this). use 'abld reallyclean winscw udeb'

I cleaned the project one more time from command line with the same effect. The only thought that comes to mind is I have TARM security update S60 and CodeWarrior installed. Might it cause the problem?

are using using ODD then uninstall installed application before you start debugging

Yes Im using ODD. Tried to remove the app from the phone and clear everything built but still gets the same problem
